New studies indicate additional health benefits can be obtained by introducing balance into our lives . . . pH balance. Controlling pH through “ionized-alkaline water” is becoming a practical alternative health step for many people throughout the world.

Called “miracle water” by some users, electrolyzed water offers healing for some and wellness for others; it allows the body a way to increase water intake and delivers essential nutrients while maintaining a body which is slightly on the alkaline side of the pH scale.

The body as we know it, in western society, is an acid making machine due to toxins created by a high protein and often red meat diet. To compound the problem the American diet includes more and more fast foods washed down with soda pop*. For many the lifestyle includes a maximum dose of environmental stress.

This coupled with the fact that, in the information age, many of us lead increasingly sedentary lives which makes a combination that is a sure recipe for an acidic tissue condition. When the body finds itself on the acidic side, it will raid the calcium (alkaline) storehouse in the bones to neutralize the acidic level of the blood stream to maintain a 7.4 pH blood level which is called “homeostasis.”

Our bodies have been referred to as a large sack composed almost entirely (about 80%) of water surrounded by our skin. The general health of this sack of water is directly related to what we put in it.

"MOLECULAR SIZE” is the DIFFERENCE! and YOU can feel it!

Ionized-alkaline water is ½ the molecular size of tap water, therefore there is no uncomfortable bloated sensation as is usually the case with drinking water which is clustered in much larger molecules. So you can easily prove to yourself that there is a noticeable difference. The water molecule clusters in “ionized-alkaline water” are only 5 to 6 H2O's per cluster. Tap water has 12 to14 H2O's per water cluster . . . therefore . . . Micro-sized water is wetter. But this water also carries an electrical milivolt charge. What holds that charge? The minerals of course... Calcium, Magnesium. Potasseum, Sodium.

Smaller Clustered Water The smaller clustered water, a measured by the use of a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance device. It is a more hydrating water than normal tap water. Along with this smaller clustering and its permeability is its ability to more effectively dissolve matter. Both traits, taken hand in hand, result in improved hydration with the ability for the water to effectively eliminate waste. Alkaline-Concentrated Water Since Alkaline properties are considered to be health bene-ficial traits, the removal of acidic properties from water provides a healthy drinking water. This alkaline concentration assists in buffering acidity. Abundance of Electrons Through the process of electrolysis, the reduced or restructured water gains an excess amount of electrons. When this water is consumed, the reduced water readily donates its electrons to unbalanced oxygen radicals and blocks the interaction of the active oxygen with normal molecules, thereby preventing damage to healthy tissues.

This “micro-sized, ionized-alkaline” water phenomenon occurs naturally only in high mountain streams. At high altitude, water tumbles off rocks while aerating and ionizing. The water tastes terrific and increases in pH while reducing the cluster size. The high mountain water is also high in essential mineral content of calcium, potassium, magnesium and sodium.

Original studies were launched in the 1950's when Ministry of Health officials from Japan toured the world and visited the places where people routinely live an active life in excess of one hundred years. The condition common to all the inhabitants was the life enhancing, naturally occurring, ionized alkaline water. The task was to bring the benefits of the high altitude lifestyle down to where most of us live.

This was accomplished by a Japanese scientist. He developed a machine that is now known as a water Ionizer. This remarkable machine, now made and marketed world wide by Japanese manufacturers, actually provides benefits for the home that are produced naturally only in a high mountain stream. Today, with the encouragement of the Japanese Ministry of Health, over ONE million of these water ionizers are installed each year in Japanese homes but for the most part have only been available to the citizens of the USA since the mid 1990's.
